Banned Games

Banned Games

How can games affect the game industry?
Banning video games affects the industry in many ways, for starters, just by finding out the video game has been banned can be awfully degrading to the company as the team spend a lot of time and effort into developing the game. Also, video game companies rely on profit to continue making video games as they require money to bring out games and banning games can lose a serious amount of profit to the company.

How can games affect the public?
Violent video games can impact the public a fair amount as the violence from the games can be reflected and used in street crimes. Since the release of "grand theft auto", teens and young children have been using the violence found in the game as an excuse to go out into the world and brutally attack people. This violence causes the government issues as they need to spend government funds deciding whether to ban the game(s) or not.
How can games affect you as a person?
Video games can affect: the way you think, the way you act, and you as a person. Age ratings are put on a game for a reason, and it's to protect you. A young child playing violent video games could grow up thinking violent acts are suitable in public. This can affect families as well as yourself as your family could see you changing in the eyes of video games. Many families ban violent games to keep you protected and away from danger.
